To rent a self-drive car, SUV, van, or motorcycle from Saferide Car Rental, you must present the required documents upon vehicle collection. Failure to provide these will result in the forfeiture of your reservation.

Here are the specific requirements based on your driver's license type:

1. Age and Identification Requirements

Age Limits: You must be at least 21 years old to rent cars or motorcycles, and at least 30 years old to rent vans and SUVs.
Local License Holders:
- Valid physical Philippine Driver's License
- Original Proof of Billing (e.g., utility bill) OR a valid Company ID
- One (1) additional valid government-issued ID
Foreign License Holders:
- Valid physical Foreign Driver's License (Must be printed in English, OR accompanied by an official International Driving Permit / IDP)
- Original Passport showing an official arrival stamp dated within the last 90 days

2. Payment and Security Deposit

Full Rental Payment: Settled prior to or upon vehicle collection.

Top service, very friendly staff, hassle-free return! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I rented a V-Max for three days to travel to Moalboal and take my luggage with me. The scooter was in perfect condition, and the power was really helpful with the typical Asian driving style. However, you should already have experience riding two-wheelers and feel confident, otherwise it can be quite tiring. I had a lot of fun, though. In Germany, they probably would have arrested me and all the other scooter riders after five minutes. 😂😂

We were on tour last February, and relied on the great service of Safe Ride courtesy of Jayr which brought us to several attractions in Dumaguete and Cebu.  Verified This is a very reliable and good company. I asked them to take me to Kawasan with a driver. They were punctual, drove safely, and the car was clean, which exceeded my expectations. I think the price was reasonable, they made detours along the way, and most of all, they were very friendly and made me feel good. I left my smartphone in the car and thought it would never be returned, but they searched for it and returned it the next day!!! For those driving in the philippines for the first time, be alert that although traffic signs and lane restrictions and so forth may be the same in your own country, drives generally do not abide traffic by-laws other than red and green lights.  Verified Awesome Car Rental Company This was the very first time I rented a car in my hometown of Cebu. I did an online search and came upon Safe Ride Car Rental Company. A few minutes after I sent an inquiry, I got an email response from Ariana who helped me through the process. We had a good conversation and she made the whole experience fun. On the day of pickup, Ariana and Kim gave me more tips and off I went to drive my subcompact car. They gave me a Toyota Wigo (a spanking brand new car fresh from the factory) and it was such a joy and a breeze to drive. The return process was also painless and easy.  Verified Very accommodating! Safe Ride is best for large groups, we are a group of 14 people, so the cost is a lot cheaper. They also give fast responses to your queries but I think its best to personally give them a call.  The van is very clean and brand new, their drivers are also nice. They also act as your tour guides. Overall, we enjoyed their service and would definitely book again when we go back to Cebu!

 Verified Great Experience with Saferide Rey Papellero was our driver and he was great! He was on time, the vehicle was nice and he was very courteous and answered all of my mother in laws questions.
