To ensure a smooth and safe journey in the Philippines, please read our Terms and Conditions. By booking a self-drive vehicle with us, you (the Renter) agree to the following policies. If there are multiple drivers, your obligations are solidary (meaning under Philippine law, the Company can hold any one of the signees fully responsible for the entire agreement).<\/p>\n<p>These Terms and Conditions must be read together with the Saferide Car Rental General Terms and Conditions, which form part of this agreement and cover reservation fees, cancellation, payment, refunds and related matters. In the event of any inconsistency, these service-specific Terms and Conditions prevail.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"dsm_faq_2 dsm_faq et_pb_module preset--module--dsm-faq--default\"><div class=\"et_pb_module_inner\"><div class=\"dsm-faq-container dsm-front  dsm-open-font-icon-empty dsm-close-font-icon-empty \" data-accordion=\"off\" data-open_first_item=\"off\">\r\n\r\n<div class=\"dsm_faq_child_20 dsm_faq_child dsm-faq-item-wrapper et_pb_module et_flex_module preset--module--dsm-faq-child--default\"><div class=\"et_pb_module_inner\"><div class=\"dsm-title-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t <div class=\"dsm-title-inner-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   <h4 class=\"dsm-faq-title\">1. Electronic Signature & Data Privacy Consent<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t <\/div> \n\t\t\t\t <div class=\"dsm-faq-item-inner-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t   <span class=\"et-pb-icon dsm_open_icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t   <span class=\"et-pb-icon dsm_close_icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"dsm-faq-content\"><div><p>Digital Validity. This Agreement is accepted electronically at the time of booking, when the Renter ticks the \"I Agree\" checkbox and\/or affixes a digital signature. Such electronic acceptance has the same legal force and effect as a handwritten signature, pursuant to the Electronic Commerce Act of the Philippines (R.A. 8792) and its Implementing Rules. Each acceptance is recorded with its date, time, booking reference, and device\/IP details, and this electronic record constitutes the executed Agreement between the Company and the Renter.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0GPS Tracking &amp; Data Privacy. The vehicle is equipped with a GPS tracking device (where installed on motorcycles). Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (R.A. 10173), the Renter gives explicit consent to the Company to monitor and record the vehicle's location for security, asset protection, and legal compliance. Personal data collected during booking and rental is processed solely for these purposes and handled in accordance with the Company's Privacy Policy.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"dsm_faq_child_21 dsm_faq_child dsm-faq-item-wrapper et_pb_module et_flex_module preset--module--dsm-faq-child--default\"><div class=\"et_pb_module_inner\"><div class=\"dsm-title-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t <div class=\"dsm-title-inner-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   <h3 class=\"dsm-faq-title\">2. Driver Eligibility & Documents<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t <\/div> \n\t\t\t\t <div class=\"dsm-faq-item-inner-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t   <span class=\"et-pb-icon dsm_open_icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t   <span class=\"et-pb-icon dsm_close_icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"dsm-faq-content\"><div><p>At pickup, the Renter and any Additional Authorized Driver or Rider must personally present valid, physical documents. Photocopies or digital images alone are not sufficient for release.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Driver's License. A valid physical driver's license is required. For motorcycles, the license must carry the appropriate motorcycle restriction\/classification code.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Foreign Renters. A foreign driver's license is honored in the Philippines for up to ninety (90) days from the holder's date of arrival, provided it is in English or accompanied by an official English translation or an International Driving Permit (IDP). Beyond this period, a Philippine driver's license is required. Foreign Renters must also present a valid passport.<\/li>\n<li>Identification. Philippine Renters securing the deposit by cash, GCash or Maya must present at least one (1) additional valid government-issued ID and an original proof of billing or company ID. Where the deposit is secured by credit card pre-authorization in the Renter's name, no additional identification is required. Foreign Renters must present a valid passport.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum Age &amp; License Tenure. The Renter must hold a driver's license valid for at least one (1) year and meet the minimum age for the vehicle class booked: twenty-one (21) years for cars and motorcycles, and thirty (30) years for vans and SUVs. No rental shall be granted to any person under twenty-one (21) years of age. The license tenure requirement may be waived at Saferide's discretion by written agreement.<\/li>\n<li>Young Driver Fee. Renters aged twenty-one (21) and twenty-two (22) may be accommodated at Saferide's sole discretion, subject to written approval, and a Young Driver Fee applies. The fee is quoted at the time of booking. Approval of a Renter under twenty-three (23) does not waive any other requirement of this Agreement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Only the Renter and drivers\/riders named and approved by the Company may operate the vehicle. Allowing an unauthorized person to drive or ride voids all insurance coverage and places full liability on the Renter.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"dsm_faq_child_22 dsm_faq_child dsm-faq-item-wrapper et_pb_module et_flex_module preset--module--dsm-faq-child--default\"><div class=\"et_pb_module_inner\"><div class=\"dsm-title-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t <div class=\"dsm-title-inner-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   <h3 class=\"dsm-faq-title\">3. Vehicle Condition & Acceptance as Described<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t <\/div> \n\t\t\t\t <div class=\"dsm-faq-item-inner-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t   <span class=\"et-pb-icon dsm_open_icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t   <span class=\"et-pb-icon dsm_close_icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"dsm-faq-content\"><div><p><b>Vehicle as Described.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> The vehicle released to the Renter corresponds to the make, model, or vehicle class described on the booking confirmation or product page. Where the reserved unit is unavailable, the Company may substitute a vehicle of the same or higher class; any substitution is communicated to the Renter before release, and the Renter may accept the replacement or cancel prior to release.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><b>Inspection at Pickup.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Before the vehicle is released, the Renter inspects it together with Company staff and confirms that it matches the booking description and is in acceptable, roadworthy condition. The condition of the vehicle at both pickup and return is documented with timestamped photographs, and the Renter is free to take their own.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><b>Acceptance.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> By taking possession of the vehicle and completing the release, the Renter confirms that the vehicle conforms to the booking description and accepts it in its then-current condition. Once accepted and released, the rental service is deemed delivered as described. Any concern regarding the vehicle's identity, condition, or included features must be raised at pickup, before the vehicle leaves the Company's premises.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"dsm_faq_child_23 dsm_faq_child dsm-faq-item-wrapper et_pb_module et_flex_module preset--module--dsm-faq-child--default\"><div class=\"et_pb_module_inner\"><div class=\"dsm-title-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t <div class=\"dsm-title-inner-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   <h2 class=\"dsm-faq-title\">4. Rental Period, Extensions & Repossession<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t <\/div> \n\t\t\t\t <div class=\"dsm-faq-item-inner-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t   <span class=\"et-pb-icon dsm_open_icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t   <span class=\"et-pb-icon dsm_close_icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"dsm-faq-content\"><div><p><b>The 24-Hour Cycle.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Rentals are based on a 24-hour cycle. Excess hours are charged at 1\/6 of the daily rate. Six (6) excess hours or more are billed as a full extra day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Extensions.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Any extension must be requested and approved in writing (or via our digital platform) prior to the original return time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Criminal Liability Warning.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Failing to return the vehicle within 24 hours of the agreed return time without written permission is considered a breach of contract and constitutes prima facie evidence of intent to defraud, punishable as Estafa or Carnapping under Philippine law.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Right of Repossession.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> The Company reserves the right to terminate this Agreement and repossess the vehicle immediately, without prior notice and at the Renter's expense, if the vehicle is illegally parked, abandoned, or used in violation of these terms.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"dsm_faq_child_24 dsm_faq_child dsm-faq-item-wrapper et_pb_module et_flex_module preset--module--dsm-faq-child--default\"><div class=\"et_pb_module_inner\"><div class=\"dsm-title-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t <div class=\"dsm-title-inner-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   <h2 class=\"dsm-faq-title\">5. Financial Terms, Security Deposit & Refuel\/Recharge Policy<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t <\/div> \n\t\t\t\t <div class=\"dsm-faq-item-inner-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t   <span class=\"et-pb-icon dsm_open_icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t   <span class=\"et-pb-icon dsm_close_icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"dsm-faq-content\"><div><p><b>No Refund Policy.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> All rental fees must be paid in advance. Unused rental hours or days are strictly non-refundable.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Security Deposit<\/strong> <b>\u2014\u00a0<\/b>A refundable security deposit in the amount stated in the Rental Details is required. Where secured by credit card pre-authorization, no funds are debited; the amount is blocked and the hold is voided upon safe return and inspection. Issuing banks typically take seven (7) to fifteen (15) business days to reflect the release. Where paid by cash, GCash or Maya, the deposit is returned within seven (7) banking days after the vehicle is returned and inspected, less any deductions, which will be itemized and communicated to the Renter.<\/p>\n<p><b>Fuel Policy \u2014 ICE Vehicles &amp; Motorcycles (Full-to-Full).<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Gasoline and diesel vehicles and motorcycles are provided with a full tank and must be returned full. Otherwise, refueling costs plus a service surcharge will be deducted from the deposit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Charging Policy \u2014 Electric Vehicles (80%-to-80%).<\/strong> EVs are supplied with at least an 80% State of Charge (SoC) and must be returned with a minimum 80% charge. Returning an EV below this threshold, or with a critical charge level (below 20%), will incur recharging fees and battery health risk surcharges as detailed in our standard EV Rate Sheet.<\/p>\n<p><b>Keys, Charging Accessories &amp; Provided Gear.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> The Renter is strictly liable for all keys and key fobs, and for all EV charging cables and adapters, motorcycle helmets, top boxes, and other accessories provided. Lost or damaged equipment is charged at full replacement cost, including reprogramming of keys or fobs where applicable.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Late Payments.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Any unpaid balances shall incur a penalty interest of 1.5% per month (18% per annum).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Disputes &amp; Legal Action.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> The Renter agrees to pay 20% of the amount due for attorney's fees (minimum \u20b110,000) plus court costs if legal action is required to collect debts or recover the vehicle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Vehicle Delivery and Collection.<\/strong> Saferide offers delivery and collection at airports, seaports, hotels, residences and offices, subject to fleet availability and at least twenty-four (24) hours' notice. A delivery and collection fee applies, calculated by distance and quoted to the Renter at the time of booking, save where a published branch promotion provides otherwise. Pickups and returns outside published branch operating hours are subject to an out-of-hours fee and must be arranged in advance.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"dsm_faq_child_25 dsm_faq_child dsm-faq-item-wrapper et_pb_module et_flex_module preset--module--dsm-faq-child--default\"><div class=\"et_pb_module_inner\"><div class=\"dsm-title-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t <div class=\"dsm-title-inner-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   <h2 class=\"dsm-faq-title\">6. Renter's Responsibilities on the Road<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t <\/div> \n\t\t\t\t <div class=\"dsm-faq-item-inner-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t   <span class=\"et-pb-icon dsm_open_icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t   <span class=\"et-pb-icon dsm_close_icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"dsm-faq-content\"><div><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Under the Philippine Civil Code (Article 1163), the Renter is legally bound to care for the vehicle with the \"diligence of a good father of a family.\" The Renter is fully responsible for:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Strictly complying with all Philippine traffic laws.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Paying out-of-pocket for all fuel, EV charging, tolls, parking fees, and traffic violation fines (including LTO alarms and No-Contact Apprehension penalties).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Paying for all tire damage, including patches, vulcanizing, or full tire replacement.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">All release fees, penalties, and lost daily rental income if the vehicle is impounded due to the Renter's traffic violations.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Additional duties for Electric Vehicles (EV):<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Immediately informing emergency first responders and police at the scene of any accident that the involved vehicle is electric, due to high-voltage safety requirements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Using only compatible, approved charging stations and the equipment provided. Damage caused by unauthorized, modified, or defective charging equipment is the Renter's full responsibility.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Additional duties for Motorcycles:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ensuring the rider and any back-rider wear standard protective helmets at all times, in compliance with the Motorcycle Helmet Act of 2009 (R.A. 10054).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Keeping the license plate visible, unobstructed, and unmodified at all times, in compliance with the Motorcycle Crime Prevention Act (R.A. 11235).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Carrying a maximum of one (1) back-rider and never exceeding the unit's rated load capacity.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Observing expressway restrictions: motorcycles below the minimum engine displacement required by tollway regulations are prohibited on expressways.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Using the steering lock and any provided anti-theft devices whenever the unit is parked. Keys must never be left with the unit.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"dsm_faq_child_26 dsm_faq_child dsm-faq-item-wrapper et_pb_module et_flex_module preset--module--dsm-faq-child--default\"><div class=\"et_pb_module_inner\"><div class=\"dsm-title-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t <div class=\"dsm-title-inner-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   <h2 class=\"dsm-faq-title\">7. Prohibited Uses & Specific Penalties<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t <\/div> \n\t\t\t\t <div class=\"dsm-faq-item-inner-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t   <span class=\"et-pb-icon dsm_open_icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t   <span class=\"et-pb-icon dsm_close_icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"dsm-faq-content\"><div><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To ensure safety and protect the asset, the vehicle shall not be used:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Beyond the Island of Release.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> The vehicle must remain on the island where it was released and shall not be taken to another island without prior written consent.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>For Inter-Island Travel.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Loading the vehicle onto a RoRo ferry is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from Saferide (marine insurance is required).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>In Flooded Areas.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> The Renter is fully liable for engine, electrical, or EV high-voltage battery damage caused by driving through flooded roads, even if unintentional.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>For Hazardous, Foul, or Staining Items; Smoking; or Pets.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Carrying foul-smelling items (e.g., durian, wet seafood), staining materials, or hazardous goods; smoking or vaping inside the vehicle; or transporting pets inside the cabin is prohibited. Each violation results in a minimum \u20b12,500 detailing penalty.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Off-Road.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Driving off-road, on beaches, on trails, or in areas of conflict. For EVs: driving over high curbs or rough, unpaved terrain that risks striking or scraping the high-voltage undercarriage battery pack is strictly prohibited. Motorcycles may only be taken off-road if the unit is expressly designated off-road-capable by the Company with prior written consent.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>For Racing or Stunts (Motorcycles).<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Racing, drag riding, stunt riding, or any competitive or exhibition use is strictly prohibited.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>For Unauthorized Commercial Use.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Commercial transport or towing without authorization; for motorcycles, this includes habal-habal, ride-hailing, and courier services.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Under the Influence.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> By anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or by individuals with pending criminal charges.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"dsm_faq_child_27 dsm_faq_child dsm-faq-item-wrapper et_pb_module et_flex_module preset--module--dsm-faq-child--default\"><div class=\"et_pb_module_inner\"><div class=\"dsm-title-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t <div class=\"dsm-title-inner-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   <h2 class=\"dsm-faq-title\">8. Insurance Options, Accidents & Exclusions<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t <\/div> \n\t\t\t\t <div class=\"dsm-faq-item-inner-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t   <span class=\"et-pb-icon dsm_open_icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t   <span class=\"et-pb-icon dsm_close_icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"dsm-faq-content\"><div><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Except in cases of the Company's gross negligence, liability is strictly limited to \u20b1100,000 for bodily injury and \u20b1100,000 for property damage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Personal Accident Insurance (PAI).<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Covers accidental injury or death up to \u20b150,000 per person, up to the vehicle's maximum seating capacity. <\/span><b>PAI is strictly NOT available for motorcycle rentals<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u2014 the Renter and any back-rider ride at their own risk and are strongly advised to carry their own personal accident coverage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Accident Protocol.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> In the event of an accident, damage, or theft, the Renter must immediately notify the Company and secure a Police Report. The Renter must also provide a copy of their Driver's License and Passport (if foreign). <\/span><b>Failure to submit these documents entirely voids all insurance coverage<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, making the Renter fully liable for all repair costs and lost income.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Collision Damage Waiver (CDW).<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> If the vehicle is damaged, the Renter pays the standard Participation Fee\/Deductible as specified in the specific Rental Details or Invoice for the assigned vehicle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Strict Exclusions.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Standard insurance explicitly excludes, and the Renter is fully liable for:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Damage to windscreens, glass, mirrors, and lights.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tires and wheels.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Interior damage.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Undercarriage damage \u2014 including, for EVs, the high-voltage battery pack casing.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">For motorcycles: fairings, exhaust\/mufflers, and damage resulting from the unit falling or tipping over while parked.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Theft Prevention.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> The Renter must use all provided locks and anti-theft devices whenever the vehicle is unattended. Keys must never be left in or with the vehicle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Fortuitous Events (Acts of Nature).<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> If the vehicle is damaged by an insured natural disaster (e.g., typhoon, flood), the Renter remains responsible for paying the CDW Participation Fee.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"dsm_faq_child_28 dsm_faq_child dsm-faq-item-wrapper et_pb_module et_flex_module preset--module--dsm-faq-child--default\"><div class=\"et_pb_module_inner\"><div class=\"dsm-title-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t <div class=\"dsm-title-inner-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   \n\t\t\t\t   <h2 class=\"dsm-faq-title\">9. They reserve the right to refuse to drive through flooded, unpaved, or visibly hazardous areas. It does not cover accidents, injuries, or liabilities that occur outside the vehicle during tours, island hopping, or other availed activities.
